There are just a few titles that have been confirmed for the summer Games: Cuphead: The Delicious last Course, Callisto Protocol and Gotham Knights. Modern Warfare 2 will be the next heavy hitter in that lineup. The new game will be played on June 9th.
The premiere date for worldwide audiences is June 8th. The first trailer will likely be shorter and include a mixture of action and cinematics. It is possible that the Summer Game Fest premiere will include a detailed gameplay walkthrough of one level (similar to how called off duty: Vanguards gameplay was shown last year at Gamescom Opening Night Live). We will continue to wait for more details, as we do every year.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be released on October 28th. Summer Games Fest could announce the platform. Data mining suggests a smoother return to Steam (where franchise will return to Steam), and this indicates the possibility of a new generation consoles. Officially announced will be the first beta, with all editions and pricing. Keep checking back.
