Pegatron plans on moving the iPhone Assembly to Vietnam India and Mexico to the US India and Mexico

Pegatron, who is the inventor of Apple’s iPhone announced plans to export products to India, Mexico, and Vietnam due to China-controlled competition.

According to Reuters Pegatron is dissatisfied with China’s strict restrictions due to the recent COVID-19 outbreak, seasonal staff shortages, and increased competition for recruitment.

Pegatron is looking to expand its presence in Vietnam and India, as well as Mexico where it already has several manufacturing plants.

It is important to remember that this isn’t the first Apple partner to announce partial transfers of gadgets to China since the start of the year.
