Ark Xbox Controls – General

These are the General Controls of XOne & X360

  • Move Forward: Left Joystick Up
  • Move backwards: Left Joystick Down
  • Strafe Left: Left Joystick Left
  • Strafe Right: Left Joystick Right
  • Run: Press the Left Joystick
  • Toggle Run: Use the Left Joystick
  • Jump to A
  • Crouch: Use the Joystick to the Right
  • Prone: Long press Right Joystick

Battling Controls

  • Primary Fire:
  • Aim-Down Sights/ Alternate fire: LT
  • Toggle Fist – LR + Keypad up
  • Reload Weapon:
  • Drag body: Y
  • Melee & Pistol Whipped: RT
  • Attachment to a toggle weapon: X x2

Camera Controls:

  • Toggle 1st/3rd person while mounted: RB

HUD Controls

  • Extended HUD in for Hold Menu

Actions Controls

  • Open Inventory
  • Use:
  • Access the Inventory of Other Companies:
  • Hotbar: Hold the Menu + Left joystick until 12 through 9
  • Open Map
  • Map marker: Press the X
  • Hold Menu
  • Whistle Menu: Keep B

Chat Controls

  • Toggle Auto Hide Chat Box: None; Available in Options
  • Global Chat + Menu
  • Tribe Chat: LR+ Options

Whistles Controls

  • Whistle Selection: Hold A
  • Follow All: Hold B + Left Joystick until 12
  • Follow One: Hold B + Left Joystick until 1
  • Stop all: Hold B + Left Joystick to 2.
  • Hold One: Move B + Left Joystick to 3.
  • Attack my target: Hold B + Left Joystick to 4.
  • Neutral: Hold B + Left Joystick to 5.
  • Passive: Hold B+ Left Joystick to 6
  • This target is to be attacked: Hold the keypad left and Options + Left Joystick until 7
  • Move to position: Keypad left + keypad down

Misc:

  • Emotes: Hold B+ Left joystick until 9
  • Show Inventory: Hold B + Left joystick until 8
  • Show Craftables Hold B + Left joystick until 10
  • Defecate by holding B + Left joystick until 11
