The animated Castlevania series will be returning to Netflix for a new project called Castlevania Nocturne. This was announced by the streaming service during Geeked Week. Netflix did not announce a release date for Castlevania animation, but it confirmed that Nocturne is now in production.
The new Castlevania series will be about Richter Belmont, the star of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and Rondo of Blood. It would be set many centuries after Castlevania: Rondo of Blood and Symphony of the Night if it is accurate to the videogame canon. The previous Castlevania series was about Trevor Belmont and his friends Sypha Belnades, and Alucard.
Castlevania. Nocturne will be led by Kevin Kolde (showrunner), who was also involved in the previous Castlevania series, which streamed on Netflix between 2017 and 2021. Clive Bradley is the creator/writer. Project 51 Productions, Powerhouse Animation and Clive Bradley will return to Nocturne.
