It seems that the Netflix streaming services has not just released the first trailer teaser for the coming season 5 Cobra Kai. Cobra Kai , it also announced a launch day for all new series. However, fans will need to wait for couple of months. The new season will air the 9th of September.
Season 5 follows immediately after the events of Season 4’s finale. John Kreese is in prison for a bogus charge that his former pal Terry Silver uses to change Cobra Kai dramatically. Meanwhile, Daniel LaRusso and Chozen Toguchi join forces to fight Silver. In the meantime, Johnny Lawrence and Robby Keene traveled to Mexico to search for Miguel Diaz, who is himself searching for his father.
Cobra Kai reprises Ralph Macchio, William Zabka and Martin Kove as Daniel LaRusso, Johnny Lawrence and John Kreese. Newcomers include Xolo Mariduena, who plays Miguel Diaz, Courtney Henggeler as Daniel’s wife Amanda LaRusso, Tanner Buchanan as Johnny’s son Robby Keene, Mary Mouser as Daniel’s daughter Samantha LaRusso, Jacob Bertrand as Eli Moskowitz/Hawk, and Gianni Decenzo plays Demetri.
