Fall Guys will bring back Mowgli and Baloo when the Jungle Book crossover returns.
Fall Guys bringing back the Jungle Book theme cosmetics. This includes outfits for Mowgli and Shere Khan as well as Baloo, King Louie, and Baloo. They will be available for purchase between August 6th through 10th.
This is the Fall Guys’Twitter announcement, with a promo image and information about the four major outfits players can expect.
Surprisingly this Jungle Book event was shorter than the original which ran for nine days in September 2021. It’s not clear if the nickname, nameplate, and “Jungle Dance”, emotes from the first crossover with Jungle Book will be returned.
The promotional image for the new tie-in is identical to the trailer for the original event. It’s possible that players may also get the chance to try the cosmetics. You can see the Jungle Bookoutfits here.
Fall Guys is still moving forward with constant cosmetic updates. They are aiming for high-end IP such as Assassin’s Creed and trying to manage their new free-to-play format.
The animated Jungle Book is a classic. However, the live-action remake has been hailed by Disney fans.
It’s a welcome addition to those who missed the 2021 event. It’s unlikely that King Louie will be back, as there are only four days left to play. This makes the update feel like a cash grab.
It is hoped that Fall Guys will find its feet after the FTP transition and the devs can work on urgent issues such as frustrating bugs or matchmaking. It is amazing how many teams of coordinated and hardworking people can squash newcomers in a game that encourages casual gameplay.
