Nightdive has been working on a system Shock remake since long. This studio was the original creator of the project. It didn’t have permission to expand its scope.
Software developer System Shock was released last summer. However, there is no update regarding the status of this work. The imminent return of Nightdive Studios may make things better. A tweet from the video game developers confirmed their presence at the PC Games Show 2022.

Our wording is vague and does not confirm the details regarding the return of System Shock. Nightdive Studios has several projects in the works, as well as a number of remasters. SiN Reloaded and System Shock 2: Enhanced edition are just a few of the projects. Blade Runner: Enhanced edition is also included.
