After a teaser video last this week Sega announced a microconsole with a different name dubbed Mega Drive.
The brand new console will go on sale in Japan on the 27th of October 2022. It will be able to play over fifty games.
This time, the game will feature Mega CD games. Mega CD and Mega CD.
At present, the announcement was only made for Japan. The price is 10,978 yen and will include taxes in the amount of 80 dollars.
The two games available for the Mega Drive III include Silpheed, Shining Force CD, Sonic the Hedgehog CD and other games.
When the Sega Genesis Mini was released in the year 2019, and the Western version finally came out quickly at the same period with the Japanese version. It was unclear whether the Japanese version was the same as it was in the Japanese version, or if there was a tyre from that of the Mega Drive Mini 2. The announcement was made only to Japan.
