Star Wars Visions – Lucasfilm confirms season 2 of the short film project

Star Wars Celebration this year was filled with new trailers and announcements about the latest Star Wars projects. One of these was the announcement of a second season of the short film Star Wars Visions.

James Waugh, Lucasfilm vice president of franchise content and strategy, said, “It’s gonna be a celebration the incredible animation happening all around the world.”

Although specific details of the new season are not known, it is believed to be more expansive than the previous season. This means that not only Japanese studios will be involved. A US studio will be joining the creative team, in addition to teams from Japan, India and Great Britain, Ireland Spain Chile Chile Chile Chile Chile Chile, France, South Africa, and Great Britain. The new episodes will be available on Disney+ by spring 2023.

Star Wars Visions are a series that tells stories within the Star Wars universe, but is not officially canon. Season 1 introduced elements from Japanese mythology to the Star Wars universe. Disney+ now has the first nine-part season.
