The CW places series orders for Supernatural spin-off Gotham Nights and Walker prequel

Following the news that television network The CW sent several of its shows to retirement this year, a replacement is required Naturally. So, three shows could expect an official request for a first season. In particular, they’re the Gotham Knights as well as The Supernatural spinoff The Winchesters and The Walker Prequel Walker: Independence . The CW has already ordered pilots for the three shows, and there’s a chance to air the entire season.

Gotham Knights is set in Gotham City shortly after the death of Bruce Wayne. The main character is the son of Bruce who is then suspect of the murder of Batman. He forms an alliance with a variety of children of Batman’s arch-nemesis and attempts to prove his innocence.

After a string of failed attempts at an Supernatural spin-off, The CW is now attempting an original prequel to The Winchesters . The show focuses specifically on parents Dean as well as Sam Winchester and tells their incredible love story and how they risked every thing to help save their world.

The prequel to Walker’s Independence leaps deeper into the past . The story takes place in late 19th century and describes the story of how Walker’s ancestors arrived in Texas. The show follows wealthy widow whose husband was killed before her eyes and she is determined to get her revenge.

Thus, while the three series are part of the CW’s programming beginning in the autumn, Legacies won’t be able to continue. The spin-off of The Vampire Diaries and The Originals will be pulled after the fourth season. After 13 years in the business, The Vampire Diaries franchise ends for time being on the network.
