Warner Bros. announced Gotham Knights. It will be available on PC, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 as well as Xbox Series X.
Warner Bros. Games Montreal developed the title. It is open-world, single-player, and co-op action role playing game that stars Robin, Nightwing, Red Hood, and Batgirl. Following the death of Bruce Wayne, the setup requires that the four must defend Gotham.
Warner Bros. unveiled the trailer for the game during their DC Fandome online event.
Here’s seven minutes of prealpha gameplay that shows Batgirl about a dozen hours into her character development. She is speeding on her bike through Gotham, heading towards a boss battle against Mr. Freeze. You can play the entire game in either solo or with two other players. The enemy level is also affected by the player.
Robin makes use of the Justice League satellite to teleport short distances. Batgirl fights in the familiar Batman melee style (grapple hook also included). Patrick Redding (of Splinter Cell Blacklist fame, Conviction and Far Cry 2 fame) is the narrator.
