Gunnir launches Arc A380 Photon 64GB OC GPU

Gunnir, a Chinese manufacturer of graphics cards, announced the Arc A380 Photon 6GBOC. This is one of the first custom-made cards built on Intel’s Arc Alchemist. The Arc A380 faces a tough road ahead as the Intel offering must compete against the best graphics cards available.

The Arc A380 high-end graphics card by Intel uses the XeHPG architecture. It also carries the ACM–G11 silicon. TSMC is responsible for creating Intel’s ACM–G11 using a 6nm process Node. The Arc A380 contains eight Xe cores and eight ray trajectoires. It also has 4MB of L2 memory. Each Xe core contains 128,128 ALU. The Arc A380 contains 128,024 ALU.

The 2 450 MHz boost clock on the Arc A380 Photon 6GBOC is available for the Arc A380 Photon 6GBOC. It doesn’t always mean that the model’s name is a factory overlock. Therefore, the reference boost to Arc A380 could be lower. Five TFLOPs of FP32 performance are achieved by the Arc A380 Photon 6GBOC. This would mean that the graphics card is as big as Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 1660 with 5 TFLOPs of FP32 speed. Early benchmarks revealed that the Arc A380 was built on the same platform and hardware as the GeForce GTX 1650 Super which is capable of 4.4 TFLOPs.

This graphics card comes with 6GB RAM. The speed of the memory chips is 15,5 Gbps over a memory interface that’s 96 bit-like. The Arc A380 can also hold up to 186GB memory. An older model, such as the GeForce GTX 1650 or the GeForce GTX 1660, offers 33% more memory bandwidth than the Arc A380.

Arc A380 Photon 6GBOC has a rectangular design and is double-digitized with PCI slots. The graphic card is 222mm in length and has a king-tone theme featuring black, grey and blue colors. The flat backplate provides rigidity. The cooler has large aluminum heatsinks and a single 6nm copper tube that transfers heat from the heatsink. Active cooling is controlled using 90mm power outlets.

Gunnir designed an automatic transmission system to fit the Arc A380 Photon 6GBOC. The total board power of the graphics card is 92W. It only requires an eight-pin CPCIe connector. Gunnir’s place is above the shroud. It’s similar to Nvidia’s switch soil on its Founders Edition models. The Arc A380 Photon 6-GBOC has three DisplayPort outputs, and one HDMI 2.0 port.

Intel’s A3-series graphics card for desktops in China appears to have been launched already, prompting manufacturers to unveil their custom models. Gunnir did not share pricing information for the Arc A380 Photon 6-GBOC. Chinese merchants began to bundle the Arc A380 into their prefabricated gaming machines. It shouldn’t take long. At least, the other Arc SKUs are now available in China. Gunnir teased the “future flagship” by showing off its 3famous cooler (opening a new tab). Unfortunately, Intel will not be able to play desktop Arc games in the United States until the summer.
