Arcade1Up will have a custom cabinet with classic Marvel and X-Men games, as well as a WiFi Play feature.
The classic fighting game Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 is making a comeback after nearly a decade. It will be joined by 7 other Marvel-themed titles in Arcade1Up’s next Arcade Cabinet. The new cabinet will be available for pre-order starting September 8th 2022. It should ship in “a few weeks.”

While the original game is still available, Marvel Vs. Capcom2 was the peak of the series with 56 familiar characters from both universes.
This expansive roster actually allowed for both well-known characters as well as obscure ones such as Shuma Gorath who many continue to mistakenly confuse with the evil beast Gargantos in Doctor Strange or the Multiverse of Madness.

The timeless music of Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 is a result of its retro-inspired ideas and vibrant art design. Players can create crazy combos and abilities by joining three heroes in teams of three. They can swap their heroes during battle.
This game was a great choice for Arcade1Up’s next cabinets. It is also a bit more modern than other cabinets. The biggest news is that they will be adding WiFi to Marvel Vs. Capcom2 so fans can play against fighters around the world.
Other titles in the cabinet include Marvel vs. Capcom and Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter.
