Fast and Furious 10 Successor to Justin Lin should be found

Creative differences are believed to be the reason that led director Justin Lin to resign as director of Fast & Furious 10 last week. In a recent report from Variety an alternative director has been identified who will take on the production.

Louis Leterrier is expected to succeed Lin and make his debut in the Fast & Furious franchise. However, he’s no newcomer into the world of action. His credits include the directing of The Incredible Hulk as well as two films from the Transporter franchise that featured Jason Statham. Latherier was thought to be the first choice of Universal for a replacement as per Variety.

Fast & Furious 10 is scheduled as an episodic series of two parts that bring the popular action series of Universal to an end. Alongside Vin Diesel, fans can be looking at returning regular actors Tyrese, Gibson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Ludacris, Nathalie Emmanuel and Sung Kang. The other new cast members include Brie Larson Jason Momoa and Daniela Melchior.

In the absence of Justin Lin no longer on the show, Chris Morgan is back writing the script. Chris Morgan is the author who wrote the regular series stopped writing the ninth episode and created his spin-off Hobbs & Shaw instead . But he’s now back for the conclusion.
