Ark Controls 4 – General

These are the General Controls of PlayStation

  • Move Forward: Left Joystick Up
  • Move backwards: Left Joystick Down
  • Strafe Left: Left Joystick Left
  • Strafe Right: Left Joystick Right
  • Run: Press the Left Joystick
  • Toggle Run: Use the Left Joystick
  • Jump:
  • Crouch: Use the Joystick to the Right
  • Long press Right Joystick for Prone

Battling Controls

  • Primary Fire: R1
  • R2: Aim-Down Sights/ Alternate fire
  • Toggle Fist – None (activate the tool again to unequip)
  • Reload weapon Square
  • Drag body: Triangle
  • Melee & Pistolwhip: R1
  • Attachment to a toggle weapon: Square x2

Camera Controls:

  • Toggle 1st/3rd person while mounted: R1

HUD Controls

  • Extended HUD in for Hold Menu
  • Toggle HUD Menu + Right Joystick to 9.

Actions Controls

  • Press Circle: Open Inventory
  • Use: Triangle
  • Square: Access other’s inventory
  • Hotbar: Hold the Menu + Left joystick until 12 through 9
  • Open Map
  • Press Square is the marker on the map
  • Hold Menu
  • Whistle Menu: Hold Circle
  • Throw Shoulder Mount: Hold R1 + Triangle, x2

Chat Controls

  • Toggle Auto Hide Chat Box: None; Available in Options
  • Global Chat + Menu
  • Tribe Chat R1 + Other Options
  • Scroll Chat Up: Menu + Right joystick to 11, then right joystick up
  • Scroll down: Menu + Right Joystick to 11 then Right Joystick Down

Whistles Controls

  • Whistle Selection: Hold circle
  • This is how you attack the target: Hold R1 + keypad down
  • Position: Hold R1 + Keypad Up

These are the Vehicles Controls or Riding Creatures for PlayStation

  • Mount & Dismount Triangle
  • Primary Fire: R1
  • Alternative Fire: R2
  • Jump:
  • Land and Takeoff: X
  • Triangle x2 Throw Shoulder Mount
  • Aileron roll and 3rd action: Use the Joystick to Press Right

These are the Inventory Controls of PlayStation

  • Drop Item
  • Triangle Split Stack
  • Transfer stack: Hold on to X
  • Half Stack Transfer: Press Triangle, then hold on to X
  • Toggle Item Labels – Press Right Joystick
  • Transfer Item: X +
  • You can trade to craftables R1
  • Equip item: X to choose, Right joystick to hotbar, then X
  • Unequip item: The joystick is right next to the hotbar. After that, X x2
  • Repair Item: Press Triangle

  • Hold X to fly high; let go to descend
  • L3 hover button
  • While hovering, press R1 to propel yourself forward in the air/ keep R1 on the ground for Speedrun
  • L2 punch
  • R2 to shoot
