Capcom has announced that its current-gen updates for Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil: Biohazard are available today.

Every update contains new features, including 4K support and improved framerates.

Capcom claims that they also offer 3D audio for an “even more immersive experience.”

All three updates are available today for PlayStation 5Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.

Players who already own any of the games on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One can upgrade to the current-gen version for free via either a digital upgrade programme on PS5, or Smart Delivery on Xbox Series X/S.

Resident Evil 3 Review

Capcom has confirmed that a Resident Evil 4 Remake is currently in development. It is expected to be released on March 24, 2023, for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

Capcom says Resident Evil 4 will retain the essence of the original while “introducing modernized gameplay and a reimagined plotline, as well as vivid graphics.”
