The Rom-com anime Do’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro will air its second season in the Winter 2023 anime season.
Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro (also known as Ijiranaide and Nagatoro-san) began as a web manga series illustrated by Nagashi. The manga series tells the story Naoto Hachioji (an introverted second year student at Kazehaya High School who dreams of becoming an artist).
While working in the library on his manga, Naoto (also known as “Senpai”) meets Hayase Nagatoro, a first-year student. Nagatoro and her friends discovered Senpai’s manga series when pages fell to the floor. Nagatoro read Senpai’s manga and was struck by his odd behavior and reaction. She decided to play with him and began calling him “Senpai”. Nagatoro used to spend a lot of time with Senpai at the Art Club, where he was often annoyed by her constant antics. As they spend more time together, Nagatoro’s friendship with Senpai becomes a kind of romance.
Hirokazu Hansai, Miss Nagatoro, was the first to adapt Don’t Toy With Me into an anime series. Taku Kishimoto directed scripts and Misaki Suzuki designed characters. Gin provided the soundtrack. The series aired 12 episodes from April 2021 through June 2021. It aired from April 2021 to June 2021, with a total of 12 episodes. Season one of Don’t Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro was a huge success. The anime series was confirmed to be having a second season at an October 2021 event. AnimeTV recently announced that Don’t toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro 2nd attack (Season 2) would premiere in January 2023. OLM studio will again be responsible for the animation production. Shinji Ushiro will direct the sequel, while the same staff who worked on season one’s scripts, character design and soundtrack will continue to work.
