GTA San Andreas Hydra Controls – PC
These are the standard keyboard controls on PCs:
- Set Thrusters to normal flying mode. Keypad 8
- Set Thrusters to Hover mode Keypad 2
- Fly Forward – W
- Reduce your aircraft’s speed S
- Rotate Left/Right – Q/E respectively
- Roll Left/Right – A/D and
- Control Pitch – Up/Down Arrows
- Retract or extend the Landing Gear – + on the Keypad or 2 on the number board that is above the alphabets
- Locking On Targets – Spacebar
- Firing Machine Gun – Left Alt key

GTA San Andreas Hydra Controls – Xbox & PlayStation
This is the control to Console: Xbox (Xbox 360, Xbox One) and Playstation (PS2, PS3, PS4, PS5 …)
- Ascend the Hydra to the sky Press and hold the X/A button according to the arrangement of your controller.
- Controlling the Hydra’s movements – Left Analog Stick
- Flying Forward Retract the wheel by pressing R3, and shift the right analog Stick ahead.
- Shooting Targets – R1/RT secure targets, then shoot with the fire hotkey alternative.

Hydra Locations & Spawns
If you’d like to pilot the Hydra before it appears, you’ll have to locate it. these are the locations (Keep on your toes that they all have prerequisites that you must meet prior to when the Hydra will show up. ):
- Eastern Basin Naval Station – It is required to complete Vertical Bird mission. Vertical bird mission.
- In the hangar that is furthest away from the Abandoned Tower in Verdant Meadows Required to finish Verdant Meadows to complete the Vertical The Bird Mission.
- Ganton is on the Sweet’s House roof – Requires to finish 100% of GTA: San Andreas.
- Area 69 – Must be completed Vertical Bird mission. Vertical Bird mission
