How to Unlock the Gjallarhorn In Destiny 2. This step-by-step guide and tips will help you unlock the new exotic rocket launcher as well as catalyst in Destiny 2.

 

You will need the “Destiny 2 Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack”

 

Steps to unlock the Gjallarhorn from Destiny 2

Open the menu > click the new Eternity destination > choose the Xur’s Treasure Hoard > complete the quest “And Out Fly the Wolves”

  1. Search for Shaw Han in the Loot Cave Shaw Han will direct you to the new Grasp of Avarice dungeon.
  2. Take the Wolfpack to Shaw Han. Return to the Cosmodrome and hand over the item that you have received after completing Grasp of Avarice.
  3. Collect Wolfpack rounds by defeating powerful Fallen at the Cosmodrome > in The Divide area
  4. Return to Shaw Han and the Wolfpack.
  5. Go to Shaw Han to see the Gunsmith at the Tower.
  6. Clear one of the Fallen’s former hideouts. Locate the rebuild Gjallarhorn within a Cosmodrome lost Sector.
  7. Return back to Shaw Han’s Camp and use the tool box to assemble Gjallarhorn. You will need to talk to Shaw Han, but you must go to the room on the ground level of the building to the right > look for a prompt to allow you to put together your rocket launcher.
  8. You can return to Shaw Han to get your new Gjallarhorn. However, to fully unleash its destructive potential, you may also want to complete the exotic catalyst.

How to unlock the Gjallarhorn exotic catalyst and upgrade it

Another Grasp of Avarice dungeon runs will be required. Three Reaver Vandal enemies are scattered throughout the dungeon. You will receive a temporary debuff if you damage one of the Reaver Vandal enemies. You must find a Reaver Vandal and obtain the Burden debuff. Before Burden’s timer runs down, you will die.

Last chest. Find it on the top of Fallen building. You have very little time so make sure you do it as efficiently as possible. You will be rewarded with the catalyst if you place the cargo in each of the three chests. Gjallarhorn will be required to kill approximately 400 people.
