Talk to Misasagi about the item > Go to inventory > Choose the item > Give the gift
Gifts are only effective for one day. If you don’t want to give the same gift the next day, it won’t have any effect on your character affection.

Misasagi
Murakumo’s older sister, and Hina’s mom. She was always there for her daughter. To see if Murakumo was doing an excellent job managing his inn, I went to Rigbarth.
When the player arrives in Rigbarth, Misasagi will not be there. Murakumo will tell the player about his sister’s disappearance at the Whispering Woods when he visits Hina at her inn. Misasagi will return to town after the player defeats Nine-Tailed Fox.
