SDCC 2022 has revealed the new Star Wars Jedi Survivor Cal Kestis design. It is an action figure sporting a blaster, stylish beard and a blaster.
Hasbro revealed the first look at their new Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Cal Kestis design at SDCC 2022. Survivor is a departure from Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, where Cal fought with a lightsaber. Cal has a blaster and even a Kyle Katarn-style beard.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order first appeared on the PC. EA and Respawn made sure to separate it from the popular Jedi Knight series. Survivor may be influenced more by Jedi Knight’s action figure design, as seen by DiscussingFilm.
Unlike Fallen Order, where the player could only use Force powers and lightsabers, Cal seems to be carrying a blaster in Survivor. So, just like Jedi Knight, we might get to shoot alongside the Jedi stuff. Cal also seems to have a chin strap beard that is similar to Jedi Knight protagonist Kyle Katarn. However, it may be slightly shorter.
It is interesting to note that Survivor’s trailer did not reveal the beard. This could indicate that it might come later. Hasbro has also revealed a few droid variants for the game, in addition to the Cal Kestis new design. We may be facing Magna-Guards and Battle Droids from Clone Wars-era in Survivor.

Another Star Wars Jedi: Survivor news: The game’s Steam page now has a worrying release window. It is “coming soon”, rather than the 2023 date as shown in the trailer.
