Tesla electric car catches fire, crashes, window breaks

This is interesting news. A young Canadian purchased a Tesla eight months ago. It was terrifying. The car caught on fire, and the window or door could not be opened. The window was broken and the driver had to kick it to escape the car.

Jamil Jutha stated that he was driving along the Mountain Highway in North Vancouver at 10 a.m. on Friday, in a 2021 Tesla Model Y he purchased eight months ago. It suddenly stopped working. Doors and windows that can’t be opened from the car,

The car’s smoke escapes through its air vents. He decides to throw the window out in order to escape the car.

When he’s safe and out, construction workers from nearby locations were asked to control traffic in the area. He was afraid the battery would explode and he set fire to his car. The fire eventually got inside the car and erupted.

The company came out to show Tesla how to use it.

You can open the door without power.
Without using 12V, open the Y/Model 3 front doors from the inside. Lift the lever located near the window switch. (See illustration below)

 

It is important that you know that the passenger’s or driver’s front doors can be damaged in a car accident. It is possible that the mechanical door does not work as intended. Every car accident is unique. It may be necessary to disengage the vehicle from its cabin.
