Following the announcement that Netflix announced the date of release for The Spider’s Head at the end of April , the first preview of the film has been released.
The trailer is about two minutes and gives some insight into the story. The film will be available exclusively on Netflix beginning on June 17th.
The Spider Head is based on a short story written by George Saunders. The main character is the scientist who is played by Hemsworth Steve Abnesti. He manages a prison, where prisoners participate in medical research for decrease on their prison sentences.
For instance, Steve Abnesti is working with various drugs to alter people’s mood and behavior. Gradually however, the studies become out of control and gradually begin to influence the individual choices of prisoners.
Alongside Hemsworth, The Spider Head also features Miles Teller, Jurnee Smollett, BeBe Bettencourt, Tess Haubrich, Angie Milliken, Stephen Tongun, Mark Paguio, Sam Delich and Joey Vierira. This script was written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick ( Zombieland , Deadpool ) and Joseph Kosinski was the director ( Tron: Legacy , Top Gun: Maverick ).
