What are you thinking about WWDC and Summer Game Fest?

WWDC and Summer Game Fest were both held this week to give viewers an overview on various Apple products/OS updates and, of course video games. Although the two incidents seemed dated compared to their previous years, I was still a big admirer.

WWDC 2022 presented the keynote, which revealed the iOS 16 chip and a redesigned MacBook Air. It also featured unusual features such as Continuity Camera that lets you use an iPhone to act as a webcam from a Mac. iOS 16’s customizable lock screen was the most impressive. Almost all of the announcements I saw caught my attention. It could be because I am an Android user. I enjoyed the Google I/O 2022 presentation in general.

Summer Game Fest provided a few key games, but the most significant reveals were the low-key events compared to last. Cuphead: The Delicious Course, and Callisto Protocol are my favourites. However, they weren’t new game reveals. They were just extended views at the titles. The announcement was tenth as large as the one before the summer games festivities.

The titles last year at Summer Games Fest were: Salt and Sacrifice and Vampire: The Masquerade. Tiny Tinas Wonderlands, Solar Ash and Elden Ring. (which I was excited about). Summer Games had a lot to live with after last week’s PlayStation State of Play.

With all of this in mind we wanted to find out the community question for that week. What did you think of Summer Game Fest and WWDC?
