The Xbox Bethesda Showcase is nearly here. This showcase will feature announcements about new games coming to Xbox, PC and Game Pass in the next few months. This showcase is part Summer Game Fest 20,, but it’s basically what we would have gotten if E3 still existed. It may also get again in 2023, if The Entertainment Software Association has its way , though it remains to be seen what Microsoft and its studios have in store.
Bethesda had previously planned to show Starfield footage. It’s not clear if Bethesda will follow its original intent, so some Starfield fans have started making their own trailers.
Xbox has many projects in development, including Rare’s Everwild to Avowed from Obsidian as well as the Forza franchise. Previous years, Xbox highlighted third-party titles like Tales of Arise, Scarlet Nexus, and others during its spotlight. We may also see other developers surprise us.
Except for Forza Horizon 5, the upcoming DLC from Xbox, very little information has been leaked from the Xbox Showcase. So much of the lineup remains speculation.
XBOX BETHESDA SHOWWCASE START TIME
The Xbox Bethesda Showcase will begin on June 12th at 10 a.m. (PST)/1 p.m. EDT/6 p.m. MST. However, Xbox has not yet indicated how long the show might run. It’s safe to say that the 2021 showcase lasted approximately 90 minutes.
The Summer Game Fest website offers a calendar that allows you to add the Xbox showcase or any other event to your personal calendar, with reminders.
The showcase will be broadcast by Xbox on its YouTube channel, Twitch channel, Twitter, TikTok and Xbox’s American Sign Language Twitch Channel.
