Pokemon Water Festival Event – Intro
The event will run from May 12 at 10:00 local time to May 20 at 20:00 local.
This event will be a focus on Water type Pokemon, and it will also feature the debut of four new Pokemon. Remember that May is full surprise and the megaevolutions were the first legendary Pokemon.
Our adventure takes us on a journey to Poni Island, where we’ll meet all the Pokemon and all its mysteries. We will also meet Tapu Fini the guardian deity of Poni Island.

Global Challenge
All Pokemon trainers around the globe are invited to participate in this global challenge. The challenge will begin on May 11, at 10:00 pm (European Time = 1:00 PM American), and end on May 21, at 10:00 am (European Time = 01:00 American). The goal and reward for the collaboration will be to catch water-type Pokemon.
Goal – Catch 600,000,000 water type Pokemon (600M)
Reward x2 candy per catch (only if objective is met)
Alola Special Research
The special research program will begin on May 10 and will focus on catching Pokemon from Poni Island. Sharpen your focus and you will be able to catch all of them! For completing the investigation, you will receive a special prize.
Timed Research
You will need to do the timed research from the beginning to the end. This will include catching Pokemon on Poni Island.

Other Events in May – The Season of Alola
Alola Pokemon go Event Season. It will begin on May 1 at 10 a.m. local time and will last for 3 months (almost the entire spring). It will then end on June 1, at 10 a.m. local time.

Saturday, May 21st will be from Alolan Geodude. He will be more frequent in the wild!

A mega moment
All Pokemon that can Mega Evolve are expected to appear more often in the wild until Saturday, May 1, 2022 at 8:00 PM local time. Mega-Kangaskhan’s Mega Raid Day will be held on Sunday, May 1st, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. local.

From Tuesday, May 3rd, through Sunday, May 8th. From Tuesday, May 3, through Sunday, May 8, we will be able to mega-evolve the first Legendary Pokemon.
