Days Gone movie adaptation

An adaptation film of Bend Studios’ Days Gone is being considered to be in process.

In the words of Deadline, The film is expected to feature Outlander’s Samheughan (Jamie Fraser) and Oscar-nominated screenwriter Sheldon Turner will adapt the script by Sheldon Turner.

Jennifer Klein and Turner will create through the production house, Vendetta Productions. Asad Quizilbash, as well as Carter Swan, are producing Sony PlayStation Productions.

Days Gone features an open-world world set in an apocalyptic Pacific Northwest where a global epidemic has transformed the majority of human beings into zombie-like creatures known as Freakers. The game lets players can utilize various weapons and stealth to protect themselves from Freakers and humans. You can also go across the globe with your bike which is your primary mode of transport.

Starring the mercenaries Deacon St. John and his friend William “Boozer” Gray, the game sees the duo headed north in search of an easier life. After fleeing from a group of militants, the two spot an aircraft and follow the aircraft, before finally catching the pilot. There, Deacon learns that his wife Sarah who was believed dead might be alive. We don’t want to ruin the entire story in the event that you’ve not played it.

The game developed by Bend Studio was first released in 2019 on PS4 prior to its release on PC by May 2021. The game’s success on the commercial front was able to sell more than nine million units. However, Sony axed a sequel Bend due to the game getting mixed reviews.
