Wo Long Fallen Dynasty promises elaborate smooth action in an alternative Three Kingdoms filled with demons.
Wo Long Fallen Dynasty, an action-packed RPG set to release in the near future that features demons and sword battles has just released the first official glimpse of gameplay in a brand new trailer that was released today. The game is scheduled to launch in “early 2023”, with no official launch date yet.

In the past, Wo Long: Fallen Dynastyhad only been revealed with a solely cinematic trailer, which was released on June 20, 2022. The trailer examined the mythology and tone that inspired the name and explained the setting as an alternate time period of China which is where the infamous Three Kingdoms era is filled with supernatural powers and demon enemies.

The Three Kingdoms have been featured prominently in numerous movies, TV shows, and games. Many fans might be familiar with this from the classic hack-and-slash game series Dynasty Warriors.
The art style of today’s gameplay trailer has similar weapons and settings however, the combat is more complicated. It’s more likely identical to Naraka Bladepoint in that it is focused on the fluidity of movement and blocking, and strategies.
Wo Long Fallen Dynasty is being created in collaboration with Team Ninja, who is most well-known for their Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive series. The footage that was released today offers clues to the extent to which Soulsbornegames had an impact on the Wo Long also.
The gameplay is stunning and the soundtrack is fantastic which makes Wo Longyet another game that will be able to successfully integrate Chinese fighting arts as well as Chinese culture. In the last two months, Tencent announced Code: To Jin Yong, and between the initial Western publication of Sword and Fairy or Naraka: Bladepoint, the genre is sure to be on the rise.
