Pokémon Sword and Shield’s final TCG expansion has been revealed

The final Pokemon Sword and Shield TCG expansion, Silver Tempest, has been unveiled.

In November, the set will conclude this Sword and Shield era of the game. The game will launch just before Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet launch on November 18.

The final expansion will bring with it more Radiant Pokemon–such as Radiant Jirachi and Radiant Alakazam–which are Shiny Pokemon, illustrated in etched artwork.

 

Lugia VSTAR and Regidrago VSTAR as well as The first VSTAR Pokemon from the Pokemon TCG that is not yet believed to fully evolve Alolan Vulpix, have also been confirmed as part of the set.

The Pokemon Company has also unveiled the exclusive Sword & Shield-Silver-Torn Pokemon center elite Trainer Box that will be available for purchase for a short time prior to the launch.

The Pokemon 2023 World Championships will be held in Yokohama, Japan, it was revealed.

At the end of the ceremony for the 2022 World Cup in London, the announcement was made that the 2022 World Championships will be held in Japan as the first.

Up until 2022, the competition did not have a venue out of North America, but this year’s World Championships took place in the UK.
